About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Planner to join our team to take over the existing clients and work closely with the mortgage business to further develop the footprint in the local community This is a full-time position that will see you providing comprehensive financial planning services to our valued clients.

This business grew from an insurance and mortgage broking focus to providing end to end holistic advice to clients in the local area and NE Victoria.

The team have a reputation for providing simple and affordable advice that is tailored to goals and provide for their financial future.

What you'll be doing

Developing tailored financial plans to help clients achieve their short and long-term financial goals
Conducting thorough financial assessments and providing personalized recommendations
Educating clients on investment strategies, retirement planning, risk management, insurance and more
Maintaining regular contact with clients to monitor their progress and make adjustments as needed
Staying informed with industry regulations and best practices
Collaborating with other financial professionals, such as accountants and lawyers, to provide a holistic service
What we're looking for

Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Financial Planner
Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, investment management, and risk assessment and all aspects of insurance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and client service skills
Commitment to ongoing professional development
Relevant financial planning certifications together with high level of compliance
