Description

We currently have Night openings for Advanced Practice Providers with The Respire Institute to work in the Intensive Care Unit and Intermediate Care Unit at Houston Methodist West Hospital and Houston Methodist Continuing Care Hospital in Houston, Texas. The Respire Institute previously Razzack and Associates is an established and well respected Pulmonary, Critical Care Intensivist, and Sleep Medicine group. The group currently consists of 7 Physicians and 33 Advanced Practice Providers. The Advanced Practice Providers are responsible for 24-hour coverage of the Intensive Care Unit and Intermediate Care Unit at Houston Methodist West and Houston Methodist Continuing Care Hospital. The position is a night shift from 6 pm to 7 am. This position offers flexibility in scheduling and includes a competitive salary with a comprehensive benefit package.

Requirements

For Acute Care Nurse Practitioners (ACNP):

Master’s degree in Nursing
ACNP or Adult-Gerontology ACNP certification
Texas Advanced Practice Registered Nursing license with prescriptive authority

For Physician Assistants:

Certified Physician Assistant via National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
Licensed by the Texas Medical Board

Required for All Applicants:

Current ACLS and BLS certification
DEA license (or eligible to obtain)
Ability to work independently in high-acuity settings
Strong critical care and procedural skills
