SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
Our client is looking for a LPN who provides one-on-one medical supervision and support for a specific student who requires specialized health services during bus transportation to and from school and during the school day. The nurse ensures the student's safety and well-being, administers necessary medical treatments, and responds to any health emergencies while in transi and during the school day.

CLIENT'S LOCATION
Wilmington, IL

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Experience:
* Active LPN nursing license in the relevant state.
* Prior experience in pediatric nursing, school nursing, or working with children with special healthcare needs.

Experience with:
* Medication administration
* Seizure management, trach care, G-tube feeding, or other specific medical procedures (as required by the student's care plan).
* Emergency response and care in school or home settings (preferred).

Skills:
* Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond quickly in medical emergencies.
* Excellent communication skills to coordinate with school staff, parents, and medical professionals.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and accurate medical documentation.
* Patience and compassion when working with students who may have complex medical or developmental needs.
* Ability to work independently while following a care plan and district policies.
* Physically able to assist with student mobility or manage long periods of sitting/standing (e.g., on the bus).
* Dependability and punctuality, especially for consistent bus schedule adherence.
